When the AJ4 originally appeared, skating and basketball may have existed in separate universes, but skateboarding’s DNA is infused with the rebelliousness and style that Michael Jordan brought to the sport.”

Similar details can be seen in the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4’s construction, where the upper’s shape was changed to seem even more like the original AJ4 from 1989, with a better fit and upgraded, thicker materials.
