Run the Jewels x Nike SB Dunk High Energizes Your Steps And Brightens Your Day. Yes! That’s what the sportswear giant is up to as Nike SB’s division has sneakerheads excited for next year with their noteworthy collabs, including Jarritos, Fly Streetwear and Run the Jewels. Following last week’s reveal of the matching SB Dunk Low, we now have a detailed look at the SB Dunk High. Part of Nike’s ‘Tie Dye’ pack, this sneaker is a nod to the brand’s classic Dunk High Pro colourways of years past. It comes with a Teal tumbled leather and quilted textile upper that sits atop a white midsole and blue outsole. A new yellow tongue label on top of an orange tab further brings these two colour tones together. As an added bonus, the left shoe has “Just Do It” stitched across the toe box, while the right shoe says “Nike.”

The sneaker is a tribute to Jarritos, the popular Mexican soda that’s been around since 1947. The light-salmon hue above and on the sole is a homage to its signature colour. Other details include a green suede Swoosh, a purple embroidered tongue label and insoles that feature Jarritos’ pineapple mascot. More colour is found on the sole with gum hits on the toe and heel, blue parts of the sole and pink around the air cushioning unit. Additional branding comes by way of Nicky Diamonds’s famous jewel logo found on multiple places on the sneaker, including near a lace jewel. Meanwhile, white adds some contrast and interesting detailing on the Swoosh; laces and heel tab are accented in blue and teal. Finally, Jarritos branding appears on the insole and tongue. To top it all off, a translucent sole contains more graphics from the soda. Once again, there is no official release date yet, but it is expected to launch sometime in April. Capturing Run the Jewels’ unmatched energy, this colourway of the SB Dunk High features a black tumbled leather base with exotic pony hair overlays in fuchsia. Additional detailing on the exterior includes jewelled Swooshes in black and golden dubrae resting atop pink laces. Stash pockets are located beneath the tongue, and “RUN THE JEWELS” text can be seen on the hidden side of the collar. Lastly, a black midsole and fuchsia rubber outsole complete this new look.

As of now, it is expected that the Run the Jewels x Nike SB Dunk High will be released on April 20th- which just so happens to be Killer Mike’s birthday.
