Recently we have seen Nike is renovating its Air Max 97/Plus hybrid models in new colourways. Now it is bringing back a pair which is inspired by an OG colourway of the Air Max Plus that debuted a decade ago for an upcoming release. So below shows that the Nike Air Max 97 Plus has got a flaming hot makeover.
Initially dropped in 2008, this Air Max 97/Plus colour scheme takes inspiration from one of the OG colourways of the Air Max Plus. The silhouette comes in a black mesh constructed upper with yellow and orange overlays. The black patent leather detailing is also used on the tongue, heel, and mudguard. The upper sits atop a black Air Max 97 midsole infused with an orange Air unit. Other small details include 3M hits on the toe box. The “Mx Air” logos appear on each heel that resembles the “Tn Air” branding usually seen on standard pairs of the Air Max Plus. Black with yellow bordering Swoosh branding can be seen on the side walls and Air branding on the tongue.
The Nike Air Max 97 Plus is dropping on May 25th. This fiery enchantress is sure going to shake sneaker world as like it’s predecessor. So don’t forget to grab a pair of yours.
