Nike has experimented with the ever-present “Triple Black” hue many times throughout the years. And with this year’s Air Max 95, the brand has combined said pattern with blue accents and a series of reflecting surfaces. The blues on the Nike Air Max 95 Black Blue branding, particularly, highlight the Swoosh across the side and the Nike Air and Air Max logos on the tongue and heel, respectively. The cool-toned shadows created by the Air Units are complemented by black-coloured textured leathers that split apart to reveal reflective strips.
This “Triple Black” Air Max 95 comes equipped with a blacked-out Air Unit, which provides additional contrast to the already dark upper. The shoe is then finished off with a blacked-out outsole. Nike’s Air Max 95 silhouette is one of the Swoosh’s most timeless models. And for Fall/Winter 2019, the sneaker returns in a clean “Triple Black” colourway. The upper is constructed of a combination of mesh and smooth leather, while hits of 3M reflectivity can be seen throughout. Nike branding comes in the form of a mini Swoosh on the lateral side as well as Air Max and Nike Air logos on the tongue and heel, respectively. A blacked-out Air Unit completes the look.
