HUF Nike SB Dunk Low

Nike and its SB label still have a jumble of collaborations to go through before 2022 comes to a close, but one of the most heartfelt will be its Dunk Low capsule with HUF. The California streetwear brand's next project is a love letter to its founder, Keith Hufnagel, who died in 2020 due to brain cancer. Three colourways are included in the collection: one dedicated to New York City, another paying homage to San Francisco, and a third that pays tribute to both. Nike and HUF first worked together in 2002 on a Dunk SB Low, and the two brands have been collaborating ever since. The latest project is a way for Nike to honour Hufnagel's legacy and to continue his work in supporting up-and-coming skateboarders. The HUF Nike SB Dunk Low was just announced through some released images.

The Yankee's colours are a clear nod to the city, with dark navy and white leather uppers. HUF branding adorns the toe box below a Swoosh charm, while other striking details are dispersed across the base. The heels on the shoes feature NYC's older skyline, with the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center's twin towers. The words "Keith Forever" are split between each shoe. Quarter panels can be deconstructed to reveal a tie-dye pattern which pays homage to its SB Dunk High collaboration from 2004. Furthermore, the insoles are green with HUF branding and dog silhouettes. The dust bag that comes with the kicks is printed with all three colourways in this range.

The premiere date for HUF Nike SB Dunk Low has yet to be determined, but a release is expected before the end of the Fall season.
