Nike‘s archival vault is stuffed to the brim with traditional footwear colourways, and the manufacturer has a penchant for reintroducing them when the time is right. One of the retail pictures of the “Argon” Dunk Low retro is here, and you can see it for yourself. This colourway was once released solely in Japan in 2001 and is frequently linked to Nike’s CO.JP collection of unique Dunks. With the new surge in reputation over the Dunk, the Swoosh has opted to take us again to 2001.

And now the silo brings new existence to its Dunk Low “Argon” colourway from the famed CO.JP series. Official photographs of the kicks have now been coming up, so we can see a unique look at all of its details. As initially stated through Complex Sneakers in December, the traditional Nike Dunk Low “Argon” is coming back this year, and now, we have a deeper dive into the impending retro. Frequent Nike collaborator Union LA currently dropped its model of the colour scheme through its three-shoe “Passport Pack” Dunk Low collab that launched in April.

For this 2022 retro, the Beaverton-based sneaker giant elected to deliver back all of its authentic layout cues. Its titular tone highlights numerous areas of the top, such as the perforated toe boxes, tongues, collars and quarter panels. Similarly, the neighbouring overlays dials to a brighter blue shade. Breaking up the aesthetic is a white midsole and a blue outsole.
