A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 SP Violet Ore DV6773-220

Since teaming up with Beaverton-based Nike for an Air Jordan 3 in 2021, James Whitner's Parisian fashion retailer A Ma Maniére has become a go-to footwear collaborator. The latest release is the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 SP Violet Ore colourway, which follows the duo's previous collaborative AJ1 and AJ2 releases. The store's latest tie-up is with Jordan Brand to produce several colourways of its Jaïro silhouette. Whitner and his team made the most of their time in Paris by stopping at Solebox, Foot Locker, and Size? stores during their week.

The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 SP colourway is unique because it's the first time an “SP” AJ4 has been made available to the public. Rather than using premium suede and leather, as seen on most of its retro iterations, this iteration features luxurious knitted materials from heel to toe with slight accents at the midfoot, tongue and ankle collar.

Taking inspiration from the South Beach colourway, the shoe boasts purple hues accented by black elephant print overlays and red Jumpman detailing on its lace lock and sock liner. If you're a fan of AMM, you might have noticed that the AJ4 A Ma Maniére has a similar colour scheme to previous designs.

Early mock-up images show these AJ4s with a muted purple base, black accents, and a visible Air midsole in cream to give it an aged look. Of course, the Jumpman logo is on the tongue, and other OG elements like TPU lace cages and Nike Air branded rubber heel tabs are included.
